A few random thoughts for you to sit and ponder
DEAR EDITOR:
After spending millions of dollars, and inconveniencing people for two years, the diverging diamond is reality. It is certainly no better than what was before, and in some areas is worse.
Many things in this world are good in small, controlled quantities, but very bad in large quantities; such as fire and water. The internet is one of those things.
Books are great. And newspapers. And some magazines.
We are destroying this planet, the only one we have. The biggest problem — there are too many people.
It amazes me to read that some of the Founding Fathers thought Congress would be the dominant branch of government. I suppose they could be if the House of Sycophants would do their job. They need to stand up and do something about our president before he does any more harm to our standing in the world. I’d like to be proud to be an American again.
Trump may be insane. And I voted for him! (Sorry, but what was I supposed to do? Kamala? Seriously? Everybody thought she was a joke right up to the moment she became the nominee.)
Many people are voicing their dislike of Trump. When Biden was president, those who were opposed voiced their dislike of him, but with nowhere near the virulence of those who oppose Trump. There is an overabundance of hate in this country nowadays.
Too many people have completely forgotten about God.
When I was young and in school, school didn’t close just because it was cold outside. What are we teaching our kids by doing this? Life won’t always be easy or pleasant.
