Gloria Diane Winfield 1931-2026

Gloria was born June 20, 1931, in Youngstown, the daughter of Thomas Parry and Madelyn Lewis Parry.

Gloria was a graduate of Lakeview High School.

Gloria married William “Bill” Winfield on Sept. 21, 1952; together, they shared 66 years of marriage.

Gloria was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Warren and Eastern Star.

Gloria and Bill enjoyed traveling in their motorhome and visiting their many friends and vacationing in the family cabin in Tionesta, Pa. Gloria enjoyed her Sunday family meals, bowling on her weekly bowling team, playing cards with her lady friends and helping her husband with his business.

Gloria enjoyed 4-H and taking her children to various horse shows on the weekends.

She was a loving and caring mother to her children and leaves Rae (Debby) Winfield, Deborah Kendrick and William Winfield; daughter-in-law, Elaine Winfield; eight grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren, plus one on the way, who loved calling her “Gram” and “Gigi”; and her sister, Sandra Burt of Escondido, California.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill; her son, Ronald; her son-in-law, Pete Kendrick; her sibling, Ray (Janelle) Parry; and brother-in-law, Raleigh Burt.

Burial services took place Thursday, April 9, 2026, in Dugan Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff of Shepherd of the Valley Liberty.
