WARREN — Mark Edward Alexander, 65, departed this life 9:04 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, 2026, at Hospice House, following complications of a short illness.
He was born July 19, 1960, in Warren, the son of David and Irene Jones Alexander.
Mark was employed for two years as a laborer at Pine Industries before retiring. He also worked for Giant Eagle and the flea market. He was a 1979 graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School.
He was of the Muslim faith and enjoyed taking long walks, boxing, listening to music and reading.
Left to mourn Mark are his cousins and caregivers, Richard (Brenda) Smith, William (Kathy) Jones and Ms. Cheryl Thompson of Warren, and a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Irene Alexander, and two brothers, Bruce Alexander and Ronald W. Alexander.
A Janazah service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026, at the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Chapel, with calling hours 10 to 11 a.m.
Arrangements of comfort were handled by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home.
