Donald Tomlinson Jr. 1952-2025
CORTLAND — Donald L. “Mike” Tomlinson. Jr., aka Tito, passed away Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease.
Mike was born on Sept. 20, 1952, to Donald L. and Sadie Dunlap Tomlinson Sr. He married the love of his life, Teresa Holloway, June 25, 1977, in Logansport, Indiana.

When he could no longer play ball, he competed in triathlons and completed a marathon. He was also an assistant coach to the Maplewood High School Baseball Team for several years, until he was no longer able to attend games due to his illness.
He was proud of the young men he coached and assisted them on and off the field with words of wisdom, encouragement, letters of referral and sometimes anonymous gifts if he witnessed a need.
Mike is survived and will be greatly missed by, his loving wife and caregiver, Teresa Tomlinson; his daughters, whom he greatly treasured, Adrienne (Michael) Rawl and Paige (Michael Altfest) Tomlinson; his grandchildren, in whom he delighted, Violet, Nalanie, Ivy, Thomas, Lawren, Juniper and Ezra; his sisters, Sherry McFall Totten, Attorney Kimberly Tomlinson; paternal aunt, Carolyn (Roger) Rowe; nephew, Patrick (Amber) McFall and their daughter, McKenzie.
