Linda D. Roberts 1962-2025
NORTH BLOOMFIELD — Linda D. Roberts passed away Friday, Nov. 7, 2025, after a courageous battle with terminal brain cancer, with her husband and friends by her side.
She was born Feb. 5, 1962, in Warren, the daughter of Lois Oxley and David Bosley.
She loved the Lord and country music. She really enjoyed reading and the great outdoors. She would help anyone in need without question, even if they didn’t ask.
She is survived by her husband, William Roberts; her daughter, Lois Bosley Burrell; four grandchildren; and half brother, Robert Bennet.
She was preceded in passing by her parents; three brothers, Butch, Richard and Benny Bosley; and sister, Donna Jean Taylor.
A loving thanks to Joannie Wilson, who Linda considered a sister, who stood with her in the time of need with unwavering compassion.
She would enjoy people who knew her to remember this epitaph:
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripening grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you are awake in the morning, hush.
I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet – birds in circled flight.
I am the soft star shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die.
We would like to extend a special thanks to Gillette Nursing Home, her friends and co-workers.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Heartland Hospice and Linda’s adopted granddaughters, Sierra and Brittany, who not only treated her as a patient but also considered her family.
Linda has been cremated.
There will be no services or calling hours.
She did not pass away. She is now in a wonderful, peaceful place.
