Richard J. Barry Jr. 1958-2025
MAPLE HEIGHTS — Richard J. Barry Jr., age 66, of Maple Heights, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2025.
He was born in 1958 in Phoenix, Arizona, to the late Richard Sr. and Shirley J. Gaugh Barry.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Clifford “Kip” Barry; a sister, Karen Barry; and a brother-in-law, Steve Gayle.
Richard is survived by his loving son, John P. Yingling Sr.; his dear grandchildren, Dayton Lei (Josh) Rednick, Samantha Star Yingling, Summer Kaye (Paydon) Prescott and John Paul Yingling Jr.; great-grandchildren, Adelaide Kaye Lynne Yingling and Charlotte Lei Rena Prescott; sisters, Martha “Dolly” Gayle and Cheryl “Sherry” Bush; a sister-in-law, Deborah Barry; a brother-in-law, Richard Bush; nephew, Clifford “CJ” Barry Jr.; and many more nieces and nephews.
Richard served in the US Army.
He was a faithful Cleveland sports fan, following the Cleveland Browns and Guardians and loved cowboy movies.
Services will be held privately.
