Pamela L. Brincko 1947-2025

CANFIELD — Pamela L. Brincko, 78, passed away peacefully at 11:46 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025, at Hospice House, following an extended illness, with her family at her side.
Pam was born Jan. 22, 1947, in Norristown, Pa., the daughter of Paul Robert and Eleanor Lois Kenderdine Reber.
At the age of 8, Pam and her family moved to King of Prussia, Pa., where she attended Brandywine Elementary School through the sixth grade and then went on to Upper Merion Junior High and Upper Merion High School, from which she graduated in 1964. Pam then attended Bryn Mawr Hospital School of Nursing and graduated in 1967.
She became a registered nurse and was employed in various fields of nursing, including mental health, industrial nursing at General Motors and in several doctor offices, specializing in pediatrics, allergy and pain management.
Pam’s greatest joy was her family; she was devoted to her children and grandchildren and loved spending time with them. Some of the fondest memories the grandchildren have of her are spending Christmas Eve at the Brincko house with a visit from Santa Claus, trips to the zoo and the pool, fishing in the pond behind her house and many epic vacations in Florida with seven of the grandchildren.
Traveling was one of Pam’s many passions and she went on many trips to Ireland and Scotland, as well as two of her favorite cities in Charleston, South Carolina and Savannah, Georgia, with her best friend, Linda Simmer.
She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports and play in the school band, reading and music, and attending concerts whenever possible.
Pam was a member of the Canfield Presbyterian Church and was involved in their operation Operation Christmas Child shoebox collection.
Pam was preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Brincko, whom she married in 1999 and he passed away on Dec. 19, 2017; and brother, Glenn Robert Reber; stepfather, Dominic Mercaldo; sister-in-law, Sueann Turschak; and brothers-in-law, Richard Turschak and Carl “Butch” Snow.
Pam is survived by her daughter, Krista (Daniel) Milford of Youngstown; son, Jamie (Cynthia) Siegfried of Stow; stepdaughter, Jennifer (Tom) O’Hara of Austintown; two stepsons, John (Tracy) Brincko of Williamsburg, Virginia, and Michael Brincko of Barefoot Bay, Florida; sister-in-law, Judith Snow; 12 grandchildren, Ethan and Evan Milford, Aidan and Brianna Siegfried, Elysabethe and Brandon O’Hara, John Miles, Owen and Nolan Brincko, Shelby Lucas, Corey (Abigail) Lucas and honorary grandson, Liam McNorton; great-grandson, Crew Lucas; and close friends, Linda and Rod Simmer.
