Gervase A. Reeve III 1957-2025

He was born April 25, 1957, in Ravenna, the son of Gervase A. Reeve II and Bernice Mary Murray Reeve.

Jerry lived in Newton Falls for over 37 years, formerly of Lake Milton, where he graduated from Jackson Milton High School, Class of 1975.

He married the love of his life, Victoria E. Renko, on June 13, 1980, and they enjoyed 41 years of marriage together until her sudden death on Aug 2, 2021.

Jerry worked as a construction superintendent for Dot Construction in Canfield for 45 years, retiring in 2020.

He loved camping, boating on the lake, watching NASCAR races, the Cleveland Browns, his dogs, and especially loved spending time with his family.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Victoria; and one sister, Linda Morgason.

He is survived by one son, Bud Reeve IV of Newton Falls; two daughters, Amanda Elliott of Lake Milton, and Britney and Mark Allison of North Jackson; three sisters, Donna Steele of Youngstown, Debbie Thomas of Austintown and Kathy Riggs of Del Norte, Colorado; one brother, Kenny Reeve of Akron; and four grandchildren, Adriana, Alexis, Elizabeth and Shawn.

Jerry’s wish was to be cremated and to have no services.

He will be laid to rest beside his wife in Hawley Cemetery in Paris Township.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that all donations be made to the Ohio State Parks Foundation, P.O. Box 403, Westerville, OH 43086, in his memory.
