Dannette Marie Metz 1970-2025

WARREN — Dannette Marie Metz, 55, passed away peacefully Thursday, Aug. 7, 2025, surrounded by her family at Hospice House in Poland.
Born Feb. 3, 1970, in Warren, she was the daughter of Kathleen Neff and the late Gus Metz.
Dannette attended ETI Technical College in the medical field and worked for several local doctors for over 20 years. She later became an entrepreneur, opening Treasures Flea Market in Niles, which she proudly operated for 15 years. She also ran her own graphic design business for 20 years, sharing her artistic talents with the community.
She had a deep love for the ocean, with Sanibel Island holding a special place in her heart. Known for her kindness and generosity, Dannette was always ready to lend a hand to those in need.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gus Metz; her grandmothers, Louis G. Neff and Ann Metz; and her uncles, Wayne, Gary, Cheyenne and Jody Neff.
Dannette is survived by her mother, Kathleen Neff; brothers, Josh Pastore (Debbie) and Joseph Pastore (Melinda); her children, Justin McDaniels, Brandon McDaniels (Britney), Anthony Gibson (Mati), Skylar Gibson (Madison) and Zoeie Gibson; nieces and nephews, Logan, Jacob, Adeline and Emma Grace; her grandchildren, Dakota, Maria, Aurora, Madison, Jezebel and Samuel; and her beloved teacup Yorkie, Reese.
A celebration of Dannette’s life will begin with calling hours at noon and be followed by a service at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, 2025, at Believers Chapel, 2609 Weir Road NE, Warren, OH 44483.
She will be remembered for her love of her family, her faith in the Lord and the joy she brought to all who knew her.
