Robert T. Dillon Jr. 1947-2025
NEWTON FALLS — Robert T. Dillon Jr., 77, passed away peacefully, Sunday, June 29, 2025.
Born Oct. 23, 1947, in Loretto, Pa., Bob lived a life defined by his quiet strength, deep love for his family and unwavering commitment to those he cherished.
A devoted husband, father and grandfather, Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Kathy; his three children, Bob (Brandi), Brian (Mandy) and Ash; and his two cherished grandsons, Finn and Jack. He is also remembered fondly by his brother, Frank (Diane) Dillon; and his five sisters, Doris (Jay) Hayes, Mary Ann (Ken) Bigler, Nancy (Frank) Broughman, Cecilia (Ted) Button and Esther (George) Davis.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Daniel (Diane) Dillon, Ron (Gail) Dillon and James Dillon.
Robert’s life was a testament to kindness, resilience and the enduring bonds of family. His legacy will continue through the lives he touched and the memories he leaves behind.
In lieu of a formal funeral, a private family memorial will be held to honor and celebrate his life. As a United States Army veteran, the United States Army and the Newton Falls Veterans Honor Guard will provide military honors for his service to our country.
The family requests that instead of flowers, donations be made to the charity of their choice in Bob’s name.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
