Maribelle Bates 1947-2025
MECCA — Maribelle Bates, 78, died Monday, July 7, 2025, at home.
She was born Jan. 4, 1947, in Warren, a daughter of Guernard and Marian Stacey Dodge.
She was employed as a home health caregiver.
Survivors include husband, Dean A. Bates Sr.; children, Mary McCrimmon of Bazetta, Guernard Swyers of Rome, Christina Kearney of Colebrook, Stacy Perkins of Orwell and Sara Swyers of Middlefield; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Elmore of Windsor; and brother, Gary Dodge of Kinsman.
She was preceded in death by one brother.
There are no public services.
