Carolyn J. Eddy 1937-2025

She was born Sept. 11, 1937, in Fairmont, W.Va., the daughter of George and Margaret Jamison Edgar.

A homemaker, Carolyn was a member of St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish-St. James Church. When away from home, she enjoyed her trips to Las Vegas and to other casinos. She loved to play bingo and she relished a good card game. She was also an excellent pool player. When home, she liked to get cozy with a good book or she fed the birds and then sat by the window watching them.

Precious memories of Carolyn live on with her son, Mark E. Eddy (Tess) of Howland; four grandchildren, Jessica (Rich Love), Natalie, Noah (Maria) and Marissa Eddy; one great-granddaughter, Emma Love; and her daughter-in-law, Jeannie Eddy of Bazetta.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her beloved husband of 55 years, Neil E. Eddy, whom she married Jan. 30, 1965, and who passed April 29, 2020; her son, Michael E. Eddy; four sisters, Margie Vingle, Dwayne Davis, Betty Wycoff and Virginia Ippolito; and one brother, George Edgar.

Calling hours are 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home.

The funeral Mass will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 10, 2025, at St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish-St. James Church, 2532 Burton St. SE, Warren, OH 44484. All who knew and loved Carolyn are welcome to attend and celebrate her inspiring life.

Interment will follow in All Souls Cemetery.
