Alisha L. Smith 1979-2023
WARREN — Alisha Lynette Smith, 43, died Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Cleveland Clinic Akron General, following an extended illness.
She was born Dec. 31, 1979, in Warren, the daughter of Jerry and Sheila Marie Owens Smith.
She was employed as an Ohio juvenile detention officer and also worked as a part-time sales clerk at Dollar General and as a beautician.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses of Cuyahoga Falls.
Survivors include her mother, Sheila Owens Smith of Warren; brothers, Jerry Allan Smith of Newark, Del., Sharome Omar Smith and Terrell Alexander Smith, both of Girard, and Sheldon Martell Smith of Niles; and sisters, Sherry Seay of Warren and Ursula Ann Smith of Charlotte, N.C.
She was preceded in death by her father, one sister and two brothers.
Calling hours will be noon to 1 p.m., followed by 1 p.m. services Friday, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, Niles Congregation, and streaming on Zoom.
Arrangements were by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home.
