Joseph F. Andreatta 1959-2023

A lifelong area resident, he was born on April 12, 1959, the son of Mary Jane and Gelindo Andreatta.

Joe married the former Marylynn Owens on July 14, 1980. They were blessed with a son in October of 1992.

He worked for SCOPE Senior Center for 23 years, and was currently employed by Champion Local Schools for 22 years as a custodian.

Joe enjoyed playing guitar, drums, harmonica and pretty much any instrument. He also loved hunting, fishing, hiking and motorcycles.

He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

Joe is survived by his wife, Marylynn Andreatta; his mother, Mary Jane Andreattta; his brother, John Andreatta and his wife, Kelly; his brother, Daniel Andreatta; his sisters, Janie Andreatta and Mary Ann George; his brother-in-law, Thomas Mark Owens and his wife, Mary Ann; his niece, Jessica George Karr and her husband, Troy; his niece, Marina Owens; his nephews, Jacob Andreatta, Brock Andreatta, Kyle Andreatta and Kasan Karr; and his Champion Schools family.

He was preceded in death by his son, Justin Andreatta; his brother, Silvio Andreatta; his father, Gelindo Andreatta; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Theresa and Thomas A. Owens.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., with a service to follow at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023, at the Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls.
