Gail Crawford-Bacorn 1961-2023

Gail was a beloved mother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend to all. She loved to laugh, travel, hike, garden and being outdoors in general. She adored all animals, except snakes, and especially loved watching her birds. She also loved her longtime career in occupational therapy. She worked as a COTA for many years at Wooster Community Hospital. She was an avid Cleveland Indians fan and never missed listening to a game.

Gail leaves behind her parents, Jack and Donna Crawford of Fowler; her daughter, Abigail (Tyler) Bickerstaff of Niles; her son, Andrew Bacorn of Warren and his three children, Logan, Payton and Chandler; her brother, Jack (Marylou) Crawford Jr. of Cleveland; her sister, Cathy (Jeff) Carr of Fowler; her sister, Becky (Eric) Delung of Fowler; multiple cousins, nieces and nephews; as well as her dog, Winston, and her cats, Pogy and Boo.

“While Gail will be deeply missed by all of her friends and family; we find joy in the thought that she is once again dancing in heaven with her loyal golden retriever, Woodrow, and the love of her life, Steve Eva, who passed away in 2020.”

A visitation for family and friends will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023, at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, 2284 Benden Drive in Wooster.

A private interment will take place at a later date, at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made, in her honor, to Ohio’s Hospice Life Care, 1900 Akron Road, Wooster, OH 44691.
