Woman acquitted in Warren shooting killed in Detroit
A 24-year-old woman fatally shot early Sunday in the parking lot of a Detroit-area nightclub is reported to be Regan Jelks, who two years ago was acquitted of manslaughter connected to a 2013 officer-involved shooting death in Warren involving her boyfriend. Detroit police would not release the woman’s name, but a news website called MI Headlines identified her as Jelks.
