ATLANTA (AP) — Federal health officials have identified lettuce from Mexico served at Taco Bell locations across five U.S. states as a source of a widespread outbreak of diarrhea-causing parasite cyclospora. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention late Thursday warned consumers not to eat shredded iceberg lettuce from Taco Bell restaurants in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and West Virginia. Liberty police pull over driver accused in Girard stabbing

LIBERTY — A 49-year-old man was taken into custody early Friday after a notice from a local police department linked his vehicle to an earlier stabbing at a local bar. According to a police report, a Liberty officer noticed a white Dodge Charger traveling at a high rate of speed eastbound on Liberty Street while he was on Motor Inn Drive, eventually following the vehicle to a traffic light and running its information through the Law Enforcement Automated Data System.
