WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump on Thursday appeared to add a condition to the newly signed agreement with Saudi Arabia for a civilian nuclear program, saying the deal would require the kingdom to normalize its relations with Israel through the Abraham Accords. The Ohio Department of Transportation awarded two grants to Trumbull County for a roundabout in Braceville and reduced collision U-turn lanes at a Southington intersection. The project in Braceville is getting a $5.61 million grant while the Southington one will receive $2.54 million. The Braceville project, to be done in 2032, would create a roundabout at the intersection of state Routes 5 and 534. More than 24 states sue Trump admin over disaster funding

BOSTON (AP) — More than two dozen states on Thursday sued the Trump administration for requiring them to comply with election and immigration conditions to receive billions of dollars in federal funding for disasters. The lawsuit, filed in Rhode Island and challenging Federal Emergency Management Agency and Department of Homeland Security policies, argued that the administration is requiring states to change their elections systems and help DHS with immigration enforcement. The conditions would also allow DHS to terminate grants at any time and for any reason.

Former Harding athlete dies in officer-involved shooting in Indiana

Staff report A former Warren G. Harding High School athlete was reportedly killed Wednesday in an officer-involved shooting in Indianapolis. Reports indicate that Dalys Jett, 21, died in the shooting after police said he had fired a gun at a group of police officers.
