The Hubbard Exempted Village School District recently welcomed district leaders and community members to recognize donors whose funding was used to help beautify the Hubbard campus. District officials have welcomed several new landmarks to campus, including two large “H” structures and a 10.5-foot hand-carved wooden eagle. Public Broadcasting Systems Western Reserve and Ideastream Public Media have signed an agreement to merge to strengthen public media across northeast Ohio and western Pennsylvania, the companies announced this week. APPLE CIDER FESTIVAL: The Lordstown Apple Cider Festival will take place today through Sunday on the grounds of Lordstown schools, state Route 45 and Salt Springs Road. The event will include the Lordstown Lions Club demonstrating how to make fresh apple cider.
