Girard officials to inspect Lower Lake property for possible mountain bike trail

GIRARD — After visiting a mountain bike trail last month in Lake Milton and meeting with members of the Rust Belt Revival Trail Coalition, some members of city council will travel to Girard Lower Lake this week to see if it is suitable for such a trail. Man indicted in trooper’s death pleads not guilty

YOUNGSTOWN — Ryan Rach, 36, who was indicted last week on a charge of aggravated vehicular homicide in the Oct. 16 crash that killed Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Nicholas Cayton, was arraigned on the charges Monday morning in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court.
