MINERAL RIDGE — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash between a juvenile pedestrian and a Weathersfield Township police vehicle that occurred at 12:50 p.m. Wednesday on Prospect Street east of state Route 46 in the township. Girard schools to keep an eye on spending and finances

GIRARD — School officials said they plan to watch their spending in upcoming years as less money from the state will leave the district in a deficit in five years. School Treasurer Maureen Lloyd presented the five-year forecast with the district.
