LIBERTY — Liberty police told a man to contact them again if he receives any further messages from a suspect who threatened him and his girlfriend’s family over a messaging app Wednesday evening. MINERAL RIDGE — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash between a juvenile pedestrian and a Weathersfield Township police vehicle that occurred at 12:50 p.m. Wednesday on Prospect Street east of state Route 46 in the township. GIRARD — School officials said they plan to watch their spending in upcoming years as less money from the state will leave the district in a deficit in five years. School Treasurer Maureen Lloyd presented the five-year forecast with the district.
