2 men sentenced in cases involving minors

WARREN — A Leavittsburg man was sentenced Tuesday to two-to-three-years in prison in a child pornography case. Allan Patchin, 36, of Burwell Road, also was declared a Tier 2 sex offender by Trumbull County Common Pleas Court Judge Sarah Kovoor, meaning he will have to register his address with the local sheriff every six months for 25 years after he is released from prison. Hubbard cemetery levy will not make ballot

HUBBARD — A city official said the joint cemetery’s board of trustees is going “back to the drawing board” after a proposed levy aimed at improving the grounds and their roads was rejected. City officials paused official business at last week’s council meeting to discuss placing a 0.5-mill levy on November’s ballot for the Hubbard Union Cemetery on Oakdale Avenue. BAZETTA — The Bazetta Park Board and the Logan’s Landing Project will be partnering to do fundraising for projects at the township park where Imagination Station is located.
