Howland, OSHP respond to motorcycle crash

HOWLAND — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating an early Tuesday crash involving a motorcycle and SUV in Howland. Reports state safety crews were called around 7 a.m. Tuesday to the intersection of North River Road and state Route 46. The person on the motorcycle was found lying in the road and transported to the hospital. The Howland Fire Department also responded to the accident scene. A spokesman said the victim, a man, was in serious condition and transported to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. Both vehicles sustained extensive damage.

GIRARD — The city is the latest community to place a moratorium on issuing permits for data centers to allow for more time for researching and reviewing them.
