Staff report BAZETTA — A Cortland woman was killed early Friday when her motorcycle struck two horses while she was driving on state Route 46. Heather M. Robinson, 42, was traveling south on Route 46 near Cadwallader Sonk Road around 4:20 a.m. on a 2006 Suzuki GXR 1000 when two horses entered the road. Robinson struck one of the horses, causing her motorcycle to travel off the right side of the road and into a ditch, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Warren post. WARREN — Trumbull County Prosecutor Dennis Watkins is opposing parole for Warren Cromety, 51, who was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison in 1995 for the 1993 home invasion and stabbing death of 78-year-old Theodore Emerson and severe injuries to his wife, Cathryn, 72.
