Youngstown man dies in Hubbard crash
HUBBARD TOWNSHIP — A Youngstown man was killed in a one-vehicle crash Tuesday that involved speed and alcohol, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
According to a news release from the Warren post, a 2021 Dodge Ram, driven by Dominic Moretti, 20, of Hubbard, was traveling east on Mount Everett Road when the vehicle went off the left side of the road and struck some trees before the vehicle rolled to a stop.
The release states that in addition to the driver, there were three passengers in the vehicle, two of whom were juveniles and brothers. The third passenger, Brendon Nichols, 31, of Youngstown, was ejected from the vehicle and succumbed to his injuries on scene.
The release states that the vehicle’s occupants were not wearing seatbelts, and speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash.
