WARREN — A city man could face 13 years in prison after pleading guilty last week to charges stemming from two separate chases.
Jonathan L. Wynn, 20, of Idylwild Street NE, pleaded guilty before Trumbull County Common Pleas Court Judge Cynthia Rice to two counts of failure to comply with order / signal of a police officer, and one count each of having weapons while under disability, improper handling of firearm in a motor vehicle, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of cocaine.
The case involved two separate chases involving the same Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper. The first occurred on Aug. 31, 2025, with speeds reaching above 100 mph, prosecutors said. The second chase a week later on Sept. 7 ended with Wynn being caught after a 90 mph chase and cocaine and a 9mm handgun were found in his vehicle.
Wynn will submit to a background investigation before sentencing.
