Newton Falls chefs prepare holiday meal

From left, Newton Falls High School students Harlee Pengg, Aiven Hickman and Nahloni Thomas, all sophomores, make cannoli this week at the school under the direction of representatives of the Nutrition Group. About 20 students took part in an executive chef workshop preparing pasta meals at the school for Thanksgiving. The students who are taking part in different Pathfinders program activities also will take part in hip hop dance classes and STEM events. The students were guided by Holly Hanni, regional manager with the Nutrition Group. The event was part of the new Pathfinders program at the school, which offers different activities each month.
