Champion names Fee to JEDD board
CHAMPION — Township trustees at a special meeting Tuesday named Rex Fee as the township’s representative to the Joint Economic Development District board between Champion and Warren for the planned Mercy Health emergency facility.
Fee is a township trustee, but his term ends Dec. 31.
The planned health facility will be constructed off Educational Highway near the Kent State University at Trumbull campus in Champion.
Both Champion and Warren are to name a representative to the JEDD board and the two members then will select an agreed upon third member.
