Warren man accused of break-in at Eastwood Mall

WARREN — A court hearing is scheduled for Oct. 7 before Trumbull County Common Pleas Judge Ronald Rice for a 24-year-old Warren man indicted in connection with break-ins at Eastwood Mall and a nearby jewelry store.

Joshua Evans was arrested following the incidents that occurred around 3:30 a.m. Aug. 3, 2025, at Eastwood Mall and the adjacent Direct Jewelry Outlet store.

Niles police responded to alarms at both locations and found that glass doors had been shattered to gain entry.

Officers identified Evans as the suspect within hours, utilizing surveillance footage from the businesses and the city’s FLOCK safety cameras.

He faces charges including breaking and entering, vandalism, theft, receiving stolen property, possessing criminal tools and failure to comply with a police order.
