Santucci wins Chamber’s government achievement award

Staff report

State Rep. Nick Santucci, who used to work for the Youngstown / Warren Regional Chamber, is the recipient of the organization’s government achievement award.

The chamber will present the award to Santucci, R-Niles, at its Nov. 24 Salute to Elected Officials event at the Grand Resort in Howland.

Santucci said he was “deeply honored” to receive the award.

He said: “Years ago in my role with the chamber, I had the privilege of presenting this award to elected officials whose leadership I admired. To now stand on the other side as a recipient is a true full-circle moment for me. This recognition reflects not only my work, but also the support of my family, colleagues and the community I am proud to serve, and I am extremely grateful.”

Lyle Huffman, the chamber’s executive vice president of government affairs and community impact, said Santucci “has proven himself to be a thoughtful and effective leader who understands our region’s challenges and opportunities. His work at the Statehouse shows a real commitment to collaboration and policies that strengthen the Valley’s economy, grounded in his deep understanding of the business community.”

Starting at $3.23/week.
