WARREN –The Trumbull County Commissioners are expected to vote today to provide various county departments up to $1 million to enable them to be able to complete the year without going into deficit.

The county last week noted departments such as the auditor, building maintenance, board of elections, recorder’s office and others will need an infusion of money to be able to keep their doors open and employees serving the public.

“We must address the budget,” Shara Taylor, county payroll clerk, said. “There is not any more time.”

Taylor noted having some insurance accounts they must get money into.

“We can look at casino funds and look at totals in other areas,” she said.
