WHAT: Board of education meeting Wednesday

PRESENT: Cheryl Kistler, Nikii Reid, William Catlin, Rebekah Conn and Tracie Allen

The board:

• Approved a five-year contract for Treasurer Mark Ferrara from Aug. 1, 2026 to July 31, 2031. His salary was at $91,960 from his current five-year contract.

• Approved Alba Socciarelli as a long-term substitute Spanish teacher at the high school.

• Was informed the sensory room at the elementary school is being completed for student use.

• Approved high school student council contract to be split between teachers Ryan Hart and Adrienne Nichols.

• Set adult breakfast at $2.95 and adult lunch at $5. All student meals are free.
