Fire in Warren being investigated as arson
WARREN — A vacant house fire Friday morning is being investigated by the Ohio State Fire Marshal as an arson.
The Warren City Fire Department responded to the blaze at 8:18 a.m. at a vacant two-story, wood-frame house at 833 Palmyra Road SW in Warren.
According to Warren fire Chief Ken Nussle, the fire was intentionally set on the first floor of the structure.
The fire caused approximately $10,000 in damage to the house, which was unoccupied at the time. No injuries were reported.
