Police activity reported Aug. 1-31:

Aug. 31, 4:49 p.m. — Investigation reported in the 400 block of Joan Avenue for an alleged assault, where a female threw items including a cat litter box lid at people trying to retrieve items from a home. One male’s fingers were bleeding after being hit by the litter box lid.

Aug, 14, 11:02 a.m. — A woman in the 200 block of Elruth Court reported numerous harassing and threatening phone calls. The caller wanted to fight the woman in a parking lot.

Aug. 7, 8:25 a.m. — Man and woman reported to have verbal and physical fight in the 400 block of Elruth Court. The woman told police the man was intoxicated and tried to choke her.

Aug, 5, 10:51 a.m. — Dog bite reported on Emma Street after a juvenile reported a dog running loose lunged at him biting him on the face and arms. The Trumbull County Dog Warden arrived at the scene to get the dog. Police located and spoke to the owner of the dog on Dearborn Street

Aug. 1, 11:07 a.m. — A woman in the 100 block of North Highland Avenue reported a man was harassing her and her family.

Police activity reported Aug. 26- Sept. 3:

Sept. 3, 10:21 a.m. — Woman found a male family member deceased at a home on DeForest Road.

Sept. 2, 8:06 p.m. — Woman threatened to harm herself and anyone who came near her in the 4000 block of Evaline Street.

9 a.m. — Missing person reported at 489 Garland Ave. after a woman reported her son took her vehicle to go to the store and did not return.

Aug. 31, 2:22 a.m. — Shoplifting reported at Fuel Mart, 2840 Salt Springs Road, after a man was seen taking candy and t-shirts.

Aug. 30, 8:30 p.m. — Criminal mischief reported at 728 Country Pines Drive after a woman reported a man came to her home intoxicated and caused a commotion. Damage was done to a vehicle at the property.

7:48 p.m. — Domestic dispute reported at 2871 Tibbetts Wick Road after a man and woman were arguing over a child visitation.

11:08 a.m. — Criminal mischief reported at 3310 Watson Marshall Road after someone used a vacuum cleaner to knock the light fixture off the top of a light pole in the front yard.

6:43 a.m. — Woman reported a man was making threats to kill himself in the 1200 block of Depot Street.

Aug. 29, 2:33 p.m. — Theft reported at Sunoco, 2670 Robbins Ave., after an employee received a counterfeit $100 bill. Police are reviewing store security cameras.

Aug. 28, 4:30 a.m. — Criminal damage reported at 1358 Gilbert Drive after a man reported a woman threw items around inside a home and took a bank card. Baskets of clothes had been knocked over.

12:55 a.m. — Animal complaint reported at 2140 state Route 46 after a deceased dog was found in the road. The owner of the dog was notified by police.

Aug. 27, 3:59 p.m. — Theft reported at 1 Ohio Machinery Blvd. after a man used fake identification to open a credit card account.

Aug, 26, 11 a.m. — Identity theft reported at 337 Edgewater Pines Drive after a woman reported she purchased a computer and a message of a virus came on the screen stating she needed to spend $2,000 on a gift card to fix it.
