Niles McKinley High School’s Red Dragons Marching Band hosted its 45th annual band night Wednesday at Bo Rein Stadium. Other bands performing were McDonald, Mineral Ridge, Mathews, Howland and Warren G. Harding. The band consists of 113 members, which includes musicians, majorettes and drill line. The band’s theme for this season is “Fire and Ice,” with songs including “Fire Burning,” “Burning for You,” “Freeze Frame / Hot to Go,” “Hot Blooded / Cold as Ice” and “Hot N Cold.” Band Director Stephen J. Orlando conducts the marching band in the playing of the National Anthem prior to the start of band night.
