Champion officials review options for EMS billing

CHAMPION — Fire and township officials gathered Friday morning to review ways to bill neighboring communities for emergency medical service mutual aid calls since many departments are facing staffing shortages. Weathersfield trustees put moratorium on data centers

WEATHERSFIELD — Even though no company has submitted an application to locate a data center in the township, trustees said they want to be prepared and have guidelines in place, so they voted 3-0 earlier this week on a six-month moratorium. Trustees ready public survey

WARREN TOWNSHIP — A resident survey is expected soon as township officials work to update the comprehensive plan. Trustee Tyler Wilson said at this week’s trustees meeting that the goal is to have the survey ready by late May Wilson said they have received input from members of the Trumbull County Planning Commission in guiding them on updating and modernizing the current plan.
