Seeing Eye: Play bingo, help the Imagination Station

BINGO FUNDRAISER: A gun and purse bingo fundraiser to help Bazetta Parks Imagination Station will be at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Optimist Club of Bazetta-Cortland, 2619 Hoagland Blackstub Road. The event will include six gun games, six designer purse games and one purse / gun combo game. The kitchen will be open. Doors open at noon, and the gun raffle begins at 2:15 pm. Meeting brings farmers together

One of my favorite things that signals that fall is on the way is the Trumbull County Farm Bureau’s annual meeting. Each year, our meeting is held at a local member’s business, community center or farm. Each event consists of the annual business meeting as well as camaraderie among farmers. This year’s annual meeting was on Sept. 11 at the Trumbull County Fairgrounds. This meeting was a cookout-style dinner, with popcorn produced by local farmers and a trivia game.
