Seeing Eye: Charlie Kirk memorial planned in Warren

CHARLIE KIRK MEMORIAL: A celebration of the life and legacy of political activist Charlie Kirk, co-founder of the conservative organization Turning Point USA, who was assassinated at a speaking engagement at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10, will take place at noon Sunday at the Warren Community Amphitheatre, 321 Mahoning Ave. NW, Warren. The event is open to the public and is being hosted by Trumbull County Family Court Judge David Engler and Seventh District Court of Appeals Judge Mark Hanni, with support from the Trumbull County Republican Party and the Trumbull County Republican Women’s Club. The service will feature prayers and live music by the Chris Higbee Band, with a livestream of Kirk’s funeral service to follow.

FALL EQUINOX: The Unity Spiritual Centre, 1226 Naylor Lloyd Road, Liberty, will hold a fall equinox drumming circle from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today. The event, Drums and Yums, will be led by Dan Susany, a local drummer, who has led regional drumming events since 1997. Participants can bring their own drums. Drums will also be available to use. YELLOW HOUSE: The Howland Historical Society will hold an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday of the historic Yellow House, 8702 South St. SE, Howland. Admission is free. Parking in front of Howland Middle School.

CELEBRATION OF NEW MINISTRY: A Celebration of New Ministry for the Rev. Robin Woodberry will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Christ Episcopal Church, Atlantic Street, Warren. The wardens, vestry and people of the church will hold the celebration, and the retired Rev. Anne B. Jolly, bishop of Ohio, will preside. The Rev. Gena Thornton, retired pastor of Grace AME Church, Warren, will preach. A reception will follow in the parish hall.

IMMUNIZATION CLINIC: The Warren City Health District will be providing a public Children’s Immunization Clinic 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday Warren City Health District 258 East Market St., Warren. No appointments are necessary. Bring updated shot records.
