PROM CLOTHING GIVEAWAY: The Trumbull County Family and Children First Council, in partnership with the Transition Age Youth Group from Cadence Care Network, will host “It Suits You” from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Trumbull Metropolitan Housing Authority building, 4076 Youngstown Road, Warren.

The mission of “It Suits You” is to offer new and gently used male attire to any area high school student to make special events like prom, graduation, homecoming and others more affordable.

Clothing for the event has been donated by members of the community, with a special thank you to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. All clothing is provided at no cost regardless of income.

BRACEVILLE HISTORY PROGRAM: The Braceville Historical Society will host a program on the history of Braceville schools at 2 p.m. Sunday at the township hall, 582 Newton Falls Braceville Road. The program will include the journey of Braceville’s schools, which shaped generations of learning.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAM: Rachel Carson, an environmental researcher and activist, will be the topic of a program at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Brookfield Library meeting room, 7032 Grove St.

Presented by Trumbull County SWCD administrator, Amy Reeher, the program is part of the library’s monthly conservation series. Carson identified a synthetic insecticide as an issue that impacted birds (particularly eagles and ospreys).

Guests may bring an old CD or DVD to upcycle into a water quality monitoring tool.

WELLNESS ON WHEELS: The Warren City Health District Wellness on Wheels will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store, 540 Main Ave. SW, Warren. For information, call 330-841-2596.

VACCINE CLINIC: The Warren City Health District will be providing a public COVID-19 and flu vaccine clinic 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Health District, 258 E. Market St., Warren. No appointment needed.
