FRIENDLY SQUARES: Friendly Squares square dance club will host its monthly square dance 7:30 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the Niles SCOPE Center, 14 E. State St., Niles. Gene Hammond will be the caller. Valentines will be the theme for the dance.This will be a hi / lo dance with alternating tips for new dancers taking lessons and tips for more experienced dancers. Dress is casual. LACERS OF THE LAKE: The National McKInley Birthplace Memorial Museum will host a Lacers of the Lake class noon to 3 p.m. Saturday featuring seven members of the group, who will demonstrate several different techniques. Members will be able to assist those who attend as needed. Registration is required at 330-652-4273.
BLACK WOMEN’S MAGIC: McKinley Memorial Library will present “Mojos, Mermaids, Medicine, and 400 Years of Black Women’s Magic” with Dr. Lindsey Stewart at 2 p.m. Thursday.
