• BROOKFIELD TOWNSHIP TRUSTEES will have a special meeting at 1 p.m. today at the township administration building for an executive season to meet with an attorney on potential litigation and discuss a firefighter grievance.

• TRUMBULL COUNTY COMMISSIONERS will meet at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the commissioners hearing room.

• WARREN CITY COUNCIL will meet at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the municipal justice building with caucus at 4:15 p.m,

• HOWLAND TOWNSHIP TRUSTEES will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the township administration building.

• SOUTHINGTON TOWNSHIP TRUSTEES will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the township hall.

• BRISTOL BOARD OF EDUCATION will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the elementary school art room.

• MAPLEWOOD BOARD OF EDUCATION will meat at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the high school.

• TRUMBULL COUNTY TRANSIT BOARD will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Veterans Commission conference room, 253 E. Market St., Warren, to discuss the current “on demand” state of transportation that serves seniors, individuals with disabilities and veterans. Information will be gathered on three transportation options developed by the transit administrator.
