Northwest Neighborhood Association meets Monday
NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING: The Northwest Neighborhood Association monthly meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Grace Methodist Church, 1725 Drexel Ave., Warren. The guest speaker is Katie Phillips from MS Consultants, who will talk about a new walkway. Socks for the Warren Family Mission are being collected and the church pantry is in need of nonperishable food items.
NATURE SERIES LECTURE: The Brookfield Library Branch, 7032 Grove St., will offer a program on Eugene Odum, biologist and ecosystem pioneer, at 11 a.m. Saturday.
The free program is part of a monthly nature series. The presenter is Amy Reeher of the Trumbull Soil and Water Conservation District. Educational materials related to the program will be provided. For information, call 330-448-8134.
TCAP PROGRAM: The Trumbull Community Action Program, 611 Main Ave., Warren, will offer utility assistance under the winter crisis program through March 31. The program helps income-eligible households avoid utility disconnection, restore service, purchase fuel oil and wood, and furnace repairs.
