Warren pride festival planned
WARREN — Full Spectrum Pride in the Valley takes place noon to 10 p.m. Saturday at downtown Warren’s Courthouse Square.
The event started in 2019 and was created not only for those who identify as LGBTQIA+ but also their friends, allies and community supporters.
Festivities start with a parade around the square. This year’s grand marshall is Vicci Sfikas, who was the owner of Club Switch in Youngstown.
An opening ceremony follows at 12:30 p.m., and entertainment is planned throughout the day featuring Kari Lankford, Jamie Marich, Denise Russell, Haley Comet, Esther Gin, Bernadette Lim, Crash the Great, Black Wolf & the Thief, and Fire and Flow.
It concludes with a Local Drag Extravaganza at 8 p.m. with more than a dozen performers scheduled.
Admission is free. For more information, go to prideinthevalley.org.
