Bluegrass festival set for Jefferson
JEFFERSON — The first Jefferson Bluegrass Festival runs from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday at Giddings Park, 31 S. Market St.
The Grammy Award-winning Clay Hess Band of Cincinnati will be joined by Vertical Limit of Youngstown and the Hershel Blevins Band and Falcon Grass of Jefferson.
The opening ceremony at noon will feature the Jefferson High School Marching Band and appearances from local safety forces honoring the 20th anniversary of the first responders of 9/11.
