PERI TO MEET: The Trumbull County Public Employee Retirees (PERI) will meet Wednesday at Shepherd of the Valley, 410 N. River Road, Warren.
Doors open at 10:30 a.m. A $10 luncheon and time for fellowship will follow the meeting.
Guest speaker Lt. Brian Bellus of the Howland Fire Department will present an informative program on fire safety and prevention, sharing practical tips to help keep you and your home safe.
All public employees and retirees are welcome to attend.

TRTA WELCOMES DUNLAP: The Trumbull Retired Teachers Association met April 14 and welcomed their guest speaker, Leslie Dunlap, owner of Fattycakes. Dunlap shared her story and some of what she relied on when starting her business.
Dunlap donated a basket to raffle at the luncheon, and $240 was collected for the scholarship fund. A thank you goes out to the members who donated diapers and hygiene products for the CARES program at St. Vincent de Paul.
The next association meeting will be noon June 9 at Ciminero’s. TRTA members will be collecting boxes of cereal at the June luncheon for Niles Community Services.
