4:25 p.m. Sunday: Vigil to be held for slain police officer

GIRARD -- A vigil is scheduled for 6 p.m. tonight at the Girard High School Arrowhead Stadium for slain Girard police officer Justin Leo, 31. Attendees are asked to bring a candle. Leo, a five-year veteran of the department, was shot around 10:15 p.m. Saturday at 408 Indiana Ave. while responding to a domestic violence call, according to investigators. He died just before midnight during surgery at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
