Slow Food founder and advocate of clean eating Carlo Petrini dies in Italy at 76

MILAN (AP) — Carlo Petrini, the founder of the Slow Food global grassroots movement promoting sustainable food production and local, traditional cuisine, died Friday at the age of 76 in his hometown in Italy’s northwestern Piedmont region, the organization announced. ‘It Takes Two’ rapper Rob Base dies at 59

NEW YORK (AP) — Rob Base, a rapper and one half of the Harlem hip-hop duo Rob Base & DJ E-Z Rock, has died after a battle with cancer. He was 59.
