PATASKALA — Sarah Catherine Renner Platt passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2026. She was born Nov. 4, 1929, the eldest of three children, to Edward William and Elva Irene Smail Renner of Scottdale, Pa., both deceased. She graduated in the June 1947 class of Warren G. Harding High School. NEW YORK (AP) — Clive Davis, a music industry mogul who launched or resurrected the careers of Janis Joplin, Whitney Houston, Carlos Santana and Alicia Keys, has died. He was 94. Davis died in his Manhattan apartment, weeks after being hospitalized for an upper respiratory issue, his publicist Aliza Rabinoff said. Many artists mourned his passing on Monday.
