LEAVITTSBURG -- Viola Sis Marlowe, 83, died Friday, June 19, 2026, at Gillette Nursing Home.
She was born June 7, 1943, in Newark, a daughter of Mayberry and Florence Overfield Calhoun.
She was a member of Morgandale Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include her children, Stephanieann Jane Leslie of Mecca and Matthew L. Marlowe Sr. of Leavittsburg; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and brothers, Delane Calhoun of Lordstown and Carl Calhoun of Leavittsburg.
Sis was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis E. Marlowe; two great-grandsons; and four brothers.
Calling hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, with services 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Pine Knoll Cemetery.
